Police in Lille on Wednesday (15th June) used tear gas to disperse England fans who are in the city on the eve of their Euro 2016 match against Wales.

'Dont't take me home' The England fans sing their well known song, many in France probabaly wish they would go home.
As night fell in Lille, once again there was tension on the streets as riot police cast a cautious eye over hordes of England football fans.
Many of the fans had spent much of the day drinking in the northern French city.
Earlier in the day, police used teargas to disperse rowdy England fans, we are witnessing similar incidents to those in Marseille on the weekend- before England's game with Russia, although not quite on that level.
This has been a tournament mared by violence and running battles with Police in the streets of France, with England fans heavily involved.
French authorities in Lille say police have made 36 arrests so far, including six Russians involved in violence last Saturday in Marseille.
Authorities have said 16 people were hospitalised after Wednesday's unrest, but gave no details about the injuries.
One criticism of the organisation of the tournament was that England's game with Russia kicked off at 9pm local time- giving fans a longer time to drink and cause anti-social behaviour.
England face Wales on Thursday afternoon- the earlier kick-off time of 3pm local time, certainly welcomed.
