Learning the Violin: Playing The Third Finger For New Notes!

In this series, we are learning the violin from the beginning with All For Strings Book 1 as our reference.

This video covers page 11 where you will learn how to add your third finger to play the note G on the D string. We already have an open string called G, but when we add three fingers to the D string it is a new note G. By using all three fingers, we unlock a lot of new music to play. The songs to practice with this video are:
02:36 Rosin Bow March
03:22 Marching Song
04:17 Climbing Up

Stick around for the end of the video to learn a fun, well-known, and potentially annoying song: Baby Shark!

If you have any questions, ask in the comments. My students can also reach me in the Google classroom.
