Video Transcript:
My first experiences with a desktop PC was this old HP computer I had back in middle school that would turn my room into a toaster by playing a simple game like Maplestory, can you believe that? So, as you can tell, I did not enjoy my first childhood experiences with desktop PCs. So that’s why I decided to continue the torture by learning to build a new one. Hey guys, my name’s Jimmy and today we’ll be discussing my first experience building a gaming pc.

Let’s start off here. I actually thought it was be difficult. I was scared. I wondered if I would wound up blowing up the house. A college student already has enough problems.

But after building it that situation never occurred. It probably would’ve been better if I recorded me building it. But I was stupid and didn’t think of that, let’s talk parts as fast as possible with links to parts down below.

The case I used is a White NZXT S350 case. The S340 is a beautiful refrigerator- I mean computer case. As you guys can tell from my other videos, I love the whole stream lined, simple look on products.

I went with a standard Gigabyte H110M-A motherboard, 8 GBs of RAM and an intel i3 6100 processor cause I don’t do stuff like rocket science.

My storage is a 256GB SSD, which was on sale, but I’ll post an 850 EVO since it’s cheaper than the 750 EVO right now for some reason. It’s better than the 750 anyway.

Now the power supply is a corsair CX450M Semi Modular Power Supply. Why are all these computer parts so terribly named? Ugh. Basically, it’s a power supply with 450 Watts, which is the amount of power this thing can supply.

Now this is where the power is. It’s rocking a GTX 1060 3GB. This card will play almost all games at 1080p and even some at 1440p. So, I thought this would be a great card to get.

So, overall how much did we spend on this build. Not too bad for joining the so called “PC Master race”. Let’s see if after all these years, will it play Maplestory?

Yes. Duh.

Review over guys. We’re done. I’m just kidding. Here’s a few benchmarked games I’ve tried running on it. Enjoy.
Before you guys leave, I want to say thank you for watching this video and if you enjoyed it, like it, comment with some feedback and what you think I should name this Mini Fridge. Also, don’t forget to subscribe If you aren’t. I’ll see you guys later!
