Retiring Old Printing Equipment, Metal Scrap Yard Trip in Pennsylvania

Its part of business. Equipment becomes obsolete and no longer can make money. You cannot keep everything. Today I scrap our old CP Bourg 3001 perfect binder, that old girl had nearly 14,000 hours on her and has bound a ton of books in her day. Parts are no longer available, thats why I upgraded to the BB3002.

I also got rid of the high cap stacking unit for the 1200 PRO that broken many years ago and I decided not to fix it because I wasn't using it. A few pieces of my Ryobi 3404DI also made it on the truck. If you need any parts let me know.

Its interesting the changes away from offset to digital I have made over the years have all been because of what our customers want. That's important, you need to follow what your customers want, even though I miss the offset presses. Oh well, at least I saved an Intertype machine from the scrap yard! You win some you loose some. Load it all up in the International S1700 dump truck.
