INFJ Memes. But totally suits my INTP Memes agenda.

I think that both INFJs and INTPs can be weird, but in my opinion, the INFJ takes the cake.

The INTP, for the most part, just wants to think. They want to have the most entertaining hypothetical on earth and then just think about it for days afterwards. As you can imagine, this will cause them to act weird because they will be oblivious to what is going on around them. They will forget to eat, they will blow you off (despite being their best friend, or, say, spouse), they will prefer solitude over company. Despite these eccentricities, once you get into the mind of an INTP it will start to make sense why they act the way they do, and you can forgive them.

But INFJs? Forget trying to understand them, because they can barely understand themselves. They are so caught up in their ideals that they have a hard time pinpointing down what they actually believe. They don't articulate their values like almost everyone else does; they are more likely to 'follow their intuition' or 'hunches.' This can cause them to contradict themselves all the time as they discover more about themselves, trusting a gut-instinct.

Not only will they follow their intuition, but INFJs are also artistic. Artist already have a 'weird' sense about them to the common population (think abstract art) and INFJs will try to insert their creativity in any endeavor. My aunt, who is an INFJ, works in insurance, one of the driest, black and white industries known to man. And yet, she will try to be creative on how she runs her agency, how she pays her employees, and how she answers the phone, all of which are avenues to express how creative she can be. But all these experiments can cause her to act weird.

Can they outgrow their weirdness? Absolutely. Overtime, your preferences can and do change, hopefully becoming more centric (i.e. not an extreme extrovert or introvert, but rather a moderate 'ambivert'). But INFJs are going to be stubborn in changing themselves, because they do not want to challenge their intuition if it doesn't feel right. My aunt is turning 63 this year and everyone agrees she's the same 'unique' person she's been all her life. Another girl at my work who was an INFJ sees no need to date ever in her life, she'll just get married without dating.

INTPs will probably have an easier time outgrowing their weirdness because they can rationalize why they should be more social or start to see that there is a limit to how much thinking can help their lives.
