How to Bake Chocolate Caramel Cookies

Chewy, chocolatey cookies filled with a caramel center. You’ll love these cookies and the kids can help with this one! Use any chocolate covered caramel candy or even just an unwrapped caramel square. Enjoy!

1/2 cup sugar (100 g)
1/2 cup brown sugar (107 g)
1/2 cup unsalted butter (113 g)
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla (2.5 g/mL)
1 1/4 cups flour (150 g)
6 Tablespoons cocoa powder (38 g)
1/2 teaspoon baking soda (2.5 g)
1/4 teaspoon baking powder (1.25 g)
1/4 teaspoon salt (1.25 g)
Granulated sugar for rolling
Caramels, plain or chocolate-covered
