Avatar2 Na'vi Banshee Deluxe Ornithopter Flight Test Review

Pros
- Actual flapping wing radio controlled ornithopter.
- The Mountain Banshee is sort of a flying dragon from the movie Avatar 2. This flying model of it is very close to its look in the movie.
- Includes 6 axis stabilization gyro system to help smooth the flight.
- Ultra light weight at only 28 grams with battery installed. This does not require registration in most countries.
- Beginner's altitude limiting mode prevents the bird from flying higher than 3 meters (10 feet). This helps prevent loss of the bird when flown by inexperienced pilots. For experienced pilots, this mode can be turned off by pressing a button on the controller, allowing much higher flight of the bird.
- Includes two automatic stunt modes of circle right, and circle left.
- Includes altitude hold ability, along with altitude limiter. By default the bird will not exceed 10 meters altitude to avoid wind flyaway. But this can be turned off if you desire to fly higher.
- The tail can be easily adjusted in two positions for low or higher speed flying.
- Internal multi colored lights for night time flying.
- Controller includes a speaker for sound effects, and voice prompts of the bird's altitude.
- Includes two 3.7v 180mah batteries that provide approximately 5 to 7 minutes of flight time per charge.

Cons
- This is a very light weight RC aircraft. Wind can adversely affect its flight performance. It's best to fly this outdoors only on low wind days.
- The trailing cloth tail of the Banshee can cause steering issues if there's any wind. It's best to fly it with the tail only indoors. If you plan on flying this bird outdoors, you might want to consider removing the trailing tail with scissors as shown in the video.
