How To Write Bass For Your Guitar Riffs | Top Tips

I go over tips that helped me write better bass lines for my riffs.
I honestly did not know where to start or where to end this, but I hope these tips will help some of you.

There are a lot of things I did not cover, but the main thing I would add is definitely the drum/ bass interaction.
This is the FIRST thing I would notice before writing a bass line, if the song has a noticeable or specific groove to it, and if the bass can ADD to that.
So a major thing to focus on is finding the beat with the drums, and matching the bass with it. For example if a song is in 4/4, the kick drum is playing on beats 1 and 3, the general idea would be to sync up the bass with it to really glue in that groove.

Now that I think of it this deserves a video in itself.
