State Record Fish Caught in Galveston Texas | Over 12 Hour Grind Fishing Galveston Texas

I spent over 12 hours fishing in Galveston Texas, a long hot day grinding out for some fish. Capt. Cody Dunn caught a new state record fish! Using a Kastmaster Spoon Cody caught a Smooth Butterfly Ray weighing 35-40lbs, myself or Cody had no idea what type of ray it was and certainly no idea he landed a state record. Unfornately we didn't measure or take the proper steps needed to record this as a new state record. This beautiful fish in my book is an unofficial state record. Although that may not mean anything it was still a beautiful and fun catch!
