Spoon vs Live Shrimp Challenge Fishing in Galveston Texas. The clean water is back in Galveston Texas and I thought I would do a lure vs live challenge with my friend Eric. Wade fishing in the surf under a Woodie Shrimp Cork with live shrimp against wade fishing with Kastmaster Spoons. Kastmater Spoons are my lure of choice for the surf when fishing for speckled trout and red drum. They are a great lure and be fished in so many different ways and second to non during a sunny day. We set out at sunrise for the morning bite and the surf was on fire!
