A Tern in the Fog - Behind the Photo Ep 1

This is the start of a new series where I'll be sharing the story behind some of my favorite images and the the lessons that I learned from them. We kick this series off with this image of a Tern in the Fog. This was taken back in 2011 on Sanibel Island off Florida's Gulf coast. On this foggy day, this lone Sandwich tern was returning to the beach when it ran into a slight hitch in that plan; me. However, this one encounter turned out a solid image on what would otherwise have been an unproductive foggy day.
