Talking about Lens Reviews and Writing a Lens Test Script

Today’s Topic: Lens Reviews and writing test software.

Welcome back to another episode of the podcast. This time I’m again doing something a little different. Today’s I’m talking about lens reviews, and looking at the process of writing a really basic python script to make some basic measurements of lens breathing. On top of this this was intended to be a bit of an experiment to see how long it actually took me to write a simple script and as an opportunity to talk about how this both does and doesn’t apply to the much more complex task of writing complex, robust, and reliable software for an embedded system like a camera.
