Making it down to the south coast of Turkey has been our goal for the past few months, and with very good reason! We've spent a week surrounded by the most inspiring, incredible people, making a difference in the world and sacrificing so much to leave the world a better place than they found it. 🏝 Manavgat beach counted an estimated 2,000 nesting sites last year alone 👇
🌟 That means this beach potentially holds 1/4 of ALL turtle nesting sites in the entire Mediterranean. Not just Turkey, but the Mediterranean 👇
🤯 And it's currently unprotected and unrecognised. This is why Seher's work is so important. We will do everything we can to support her, so this work can continue.

We're Chesca and Ben and River (🐶 ) and we usually live full-time in our self converted sprinter van, Sophia. After a year of travelling Europe, from Spain and Portugal to the island of Sicily, the pandemic brought us back home to the UK. Along with a secret project! We spent the winter re-building Sophia into a more sturdy overlanding rig, ready to take us across Africa - our next challenge. However, it's a trip we've now had to postpone. But when the wind changes - adjust your sails! We're now off on an Eastern voyage across to Greece, Turkey & beyond. I hope you enjoy this new adventure as we overland our way East.
