游神 You Shen: The craziest Chinese Worship Ever!

游神 You Shen is a traditional religious ceremony celebrated annually in China’s Fujian Province. Every town conducts their own celebration and all the people from the local area will attend. I’m used to religious ceremonies being very relaxing, but this one is far from it. On the contrary, it’s probably the liveliest, noisiest, most organised chaos of an event I’ve ever been too. It was a fantastic experience!
