Wogan: "So what do you have to give up to lose weight?"

Pavarotti: "food."

Very patronising tone throughout from Wogan towards this colossus of 20th century opera, although the master's stipulations - a table to hide his bulk and a chair that was higher than Wogan's - were a tad amusing.
