Brooklyn Mom Empowers Young Artists Through Thriving Art Program

The Red Hook Art Project, aka RHAP, is a Brooklyn-based nonprofit that provides free access to art education for underserved kids in the community. Founder Tiffiney shares how her lack of art education growing up, and discovering her own son's drawing talent, inspired her to start the program. She also dishes on the importance of providing a safe space for kids to express themselves in the community. Pilot Pen awards RHAP $5,000 for the amazing work they're doing, and Kelly matches with another $5,000.
