Art Nouveau Riga. We take a self guided walking tour around the highlights of the incredible architecture of Art Nouveau Riga.

The Art Nouveau style flourished in the early 20th century and is symbolised by its eclectic forms and shapes and flamboyant images. Look around and you will find serene faces, mythical creatures and human forms jumping out from the buildings at you.

Along with the astounding architecture of Riga, we discover some pleasant parks and hike up the Bastion hill for views over to the Freedom Monument. We also sample some of the wonderful Latvian food and beers.
