Aunty M Tea Time Snack - “Sweet Paniyaram”

Sweet Paniyaram is a snack origin from the southern region of India, characterised by balls primarily the batter made from rice and urad dhal. It is commonly eaten as a snack.

Making the paniyaram requires a pan containing several round compartments, similar to a muffin pan, is the traditional cookware used for making the paniyaram.
South India, which comprises four states, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Karnataka is known as the origin of sweet paniyaram. Rice is a staple food in this region of the country. Moreover, lentils and spices are extensively used in South Indian cuisine.

Below are the ingredients to make Aunty M Sweet Paniyaram

1/2kg white rice
1/2kg Palm Sugar
1/2ts Fenugreek
1tbs Wheat Flour (Optional)
Plain Water (1 cup approx) for blending
A pinch of Salt
Riped Banana
Grated Coconut (as desired)
Melted Ghee for frying
