Jelly Roll Morton: The Last Recording – July 14, 1940.

Jelly Roll Morton died in Los Angeles on July 10, 1941. About a year before this date (on July 14, 1940) he was the prominent guest artist on the weekly 30-minute NBC radio programme ''The Chamber Music Society of Lower Basin Street'', playng and recording two his famous compositions: first ''Winin’ Boy Blues'', accompanied by the studio house band, and then ''king Porter Stomp'', accompanied by the band drummer Nat Levine, which is his last recording (Brian Rust, pag. 1203 - https://archive.org/details/rust_jazz-records_free-edition-6/page/1191/mode/2up).
