Taj Mahal - The most marvellous monument present on the bank of Yamuna river. The main monument is completely made up of white marble and the whole compound is made up of red sandstone.

Taj Mahal was made by the Mughal emperor Shahjahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. It took 21 years to complete the monument(1632-53).
