The Taj Mahal,
Built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal.
The constructions of it took 17 years(1632-1648). Over 20,000 Workers worked on it. Built with white marble brought from Makrana, Rajastana.
28 kinds of semi-precious and precious stones are used in the inlay work that decorate this masterpirce. More than 8 million people from across the world, visit the Taj every year.
