Painting the Engine Bay

This video is proof that you can paint your car as a novice with amazing results. I know this video is only six minutes long, however it is important to mention the hours of prep work that was needed in just getting to the point where the video started. I think the overall important trait you need to do a DIY paint job on your own car is patience.

Things I have learned this far:
* I should have been wearing a paint suit and gloves ( I was just too excited to get started.

* I did not tape my plastic sheet to the floor which resulted in getting overspray everywhere

** TIP** spray some water on the floor/ this prevents overspray from sticking to the ground and keeps dust and debris down ( My garage is not set up for water on the ground)
