How to strike out text in Mac notes

Mac notes is one of the most used apps in Mac. It serves multiple purposes, but one major usage I see is task monitoring. How many tasks I how many completed and how many are pending etc.

With strikeout, applied on the items which are already done, we can clearly distinguish items that are done and to be done.

There is an option to Strikethrough the text in notes, but it's not easily reachable. First-time Mac users will find it difficult to find this option.
