At Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG in Künzelsau, Germany, the Open Shuttles bring source containers from the OSR Shuttle™ to special check stations. A connection to the existing stationary conveyor system could only have been realized at a very high cost. With the Open Shuttles, it was possible to construct an infeed/outfeed point for the source containers at an accessible point on the conveyor system.
