There is a new event in the Last Fortress Called Muse verification. To me, this event feels like it's targeting females and there are a lot of issues with how it's set up.

In this event, the game is rewarding female players who submit selfie pictures verifying they are females. I see this as discrimination and a safety risk. Not to mention the invasion of personal space.

If you submit your picture and their "ops team" approves it, you will receive a reward that is exclusively for this event, for females playing this game only.

In the terms and conditions, it states it's "optional" to allow the last fortress to use your picture in the official community.
However, they also have terms that are mandatory, you must agree to the mandatory terms before you can submit a picture.

These mandatory terms essentially overwrite the optional terms.
My understanding based on how it is worded is that the mandatory terms allow the Last Fortress to essentially own the rights to your picture and allow them to do with it as they wish "free of charge" and "without restrictions".

One huge issue I see is that this game is rated for teens. So that means that teens are getting the same event and are being told they will be rewarded if they submit a picture of themselves that could then be used in a multitude of ways, including:

"reproduction, distribution, rental, exhibition, performance, screening, broadcasting, dissemination on the internet, filming, adaptation, translation, and compilation". As it is stated in the mandatory terms.

I think you can see why I felt it's necessary to make this video. I would like to express this is my opinion based on the information that I read in the game and it does not reflect the creator's or developer's intentions. We as a Last Fortress community were not given an explanation of why they made an event collecting female player pictures. There has not been transparency in this event's motives and this had led to Many players being confused and feeling targeted and uncomfortable with this event.

I can only hope that this video will express to the developers that the last fortress community does not approve of this type of event.
