അതേ തൃശൂർ ഒരു ബേക് ഹൌസ് ഉണ്ട് - ഫ്രഷ് ബേക് ഹൌസ് എന്നാണു പേര്. അവിടെ കുടം ബിരിയാണികൾ കിട്ടും. കുടം ബിരിയാണികൾ എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാൽ പല തരത്തിൽ ഉള്ള ബിരിയാണികൾ ഉണ്ട് - കോഴി ബിരിയാണി, കാട ബിരിയാണി, മട്ടൺ ബിരിയാണി, ബീഫ് ബിരിയാണി, മീൻ ബിരിയാണി എന്ന് പലതരം ബിരിയാണികൾ. കുടത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ബിരിയാണി വാഴയിലയിലേയ്ക്ക് വിളമ്പി അതിന്റെ കൂടെ സള്ളാസും അച്ചാറും കൂട്ടി ബിരിയാണി കഴിച്ചതിനു ശേഷം നല്ല സുലൈമാനി ചായ കുടിക്കാൻ ഒരു രസാ.
പിന്നെ, നോർത്ത് പറവൂർ ഒരു വഴിയോരക്കട ഉണ്ട്. അവിടെ ഒരു വൈദ്യർ മുട്ടയിൽ മരുന്ന് വെച്ച് തരും. കാന്താരിയും മറ്റു പച്ചമരുന്നുകളും കൂട്ടി തരുന്ന ഒരു പുഴുങ്ങിയ മുട്ട. മുട്ടകൾ പലതുണ്ട് ട്ടോ - കോഴിമുട്ട, കാടമുട്ട, പിന്നെ താറാവ് മുട്ട. ഇതിലെല്ലാം ആ കാന്താരി ചമ്മന്തി നിറച്ചാണ് തരുക. അപ്പൊ എരിവ് തോന്നിയാൽ കുടിക്കുവാൻ നറുനീണ്ടി സർബത്തും ഉണ്ട് അവിടെ.
This video is a compilation of two eateries that we went a while ago. On the way to Ooty, Chingu and I visited Fresh Bakes in Thrissur to taste Kalam biriyani. My friend Nishad took us to this place. They had chicken, quail, mutton and beef biriyanis. Taste was good, but not excellent.
The second eatery is rather unique. This is a roadside shop that sells boiled eggs with a filling of some herbal mixture. Bird's eye chili is the main ingredient of this mixture, but there are 8 other ingredients too according to Vaiidyar who runs the shop. It was spicy, yet healthy.
