Scottish Colourists: Painting Elegance

A little known group of artists - the Scottish colourists - created a movement in the early part of the 20th century strongly influenced by French Impressionism and fauvism. They were Samuel Peploe, Francis Cadell, John Duncan Fergusson and Leslie Hunter.

The background music is I Saw Stars by Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli.
