ISIS-inspired attacks in Australia will become harder to predict

Former AFP Detective Superintendent David Craig believes ISIS-inspired attacks in Australia will become harder to predict as the move is towards soft targets.

“What we’re seeing now … is moving away from hard targets and moving away from command-and-control models,” Mr Craig told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

“People here now can listen to ISIS-inspired speeches and act on that alone.

“ISIS don’t have any territory anymore, but the territory that they do own is in the heads of radicalised people that might undertake targets on soft targets as they’ve been promoting.”
