The “I’m Not a Feminist, But… | Sana Abhichandani | TEDxSNK Youth

We live in a world where everyone claims to value equality, yet many of us recoil at the label that defines it. Why has a simple word become a social taboo? Sana Abhichandani dissects the "branding crisis" of the 21st century. From the grit of WWII factories to the irony of modern "Instagram activism," this talk explores why we are scared of a label, why 69% of us are living in a contradiction, and how we can finally close the gap between who we say we are and how we actually act. Sana Abhichandani is 17, fun-loving, confident, and a little unstoppable. A Visharad Pratham Kathak dancer, singer, actor, debater, and public speaker, she’s always exploring new ways to express herself and challenge the world around her. Curious and extroverted, Sana loves questioning the usual way of doing things, sparking conversations, and inspiring people to think differently. For her, creativity, bold ideas, and a touch of mischief are all part of making an impact. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
