Moulin-a-Vent is one of the most unique Crus of Beaujolais, when compared with the other 9 Crus of Beaujolais and why it is so, we’ll discuss in this video. These wines are produced using 100% Gamay, which is a high-acid grape with a thin skin. Due to Moulin-a-Vent’s historic longevity, this Cru of Beaujolais is called the King of Beaujolais. It has medium ruby color, earthy notes, medium+ palate intensity, dry sweetness, medium alcohol and tannin. With smooth taste, balanced tannin and a decent length on the finish.
