Pizza by the Metro

How's this for the ultimate pizza delivery challenge?

I called Pizzeria Gino Sorbillo in Naples and asked them to deliver one of their prized Margheritas to the platform of a Metro Station in central Naples.

To make the request a little more – shall we say? – interesting, I chose the Toledo station, a masterwork of architect Oscar Tusquets and artist Robert Wilson, with escalators, stairs and passageways to the deeping tracks in the system.

As a final twist, I told the pizzeria I expected the Margherita to be delivered from bench to forno to the Via Toledo to the station entrance and then down 50 metres underground to the Metro platform in 5 minutes.
