Korea is the only divided country remaining in the world. Back in 2000, the two nations adopted a historic joint declaration with hopes for reconciliation and economic cooperation. But today, things aren't exactly where we had hoped it would be with Pyongyang's repeated provocations and development of nuclear arms. To mend the relationship, some claim that the South Korean government should revive its soft-handed policy towards the North, a.k.a. the Sunshine Policy. However, others oppose by citing the grave threat posed to the Korean peninsula. Should the South Korean government take a softer approach for the sake of a peaceful reunification of the Korean Peninsula?

For the final round of "Intelligence – High School Debate," students from Minjok Leadership Academy, Anyang Foreign Language High School, Daeil Foreign Language High School and Yongin Foreign Language High School debate over the motion "This House would support the revival of the Sunshine Policy."

많은 생각을 요하는 이번 주제! 배틀 시작을 알리는 첫 번째 시보와 함께 논리적 표현으로 자신의 주장을 펼쳐나가는 참가자들. 하지만 곧 치열한 POI가 제기되기 시작하자 연사자들은 자신의 능력을 한층 더 발휘해야만 했는데... 역대 가장 많은 POI의 향연으로 배틀은 더욱 박진감 넘치고 다양한 주장이 오가며 흥미진진한 모습을 보였다.
