Caelonda the Standing Princess, Spinal Muscular Atrophy
Caelonda is a bright, social four year old girl with Type 1 Spinal Muscular Atrophy (a form of Muscular Dystrophy), who uses a ventilator to assist her with breathing. She requires complete assistance to roll, sit, transfer and stand. Caelonda benefits both physically and psychologically from a consistent standing program. She even used her Bantam stander during Halloween trick-or-treating to really show off her princess dress!
