Join us this week aboard mermaid monster as we bring you along on a multi day journey down the East Coast of America. We make multiple stop in iconic and quaint coastal towns. If you have ever been curious as to what the ICW or Intra Coastal Waterway is all about, then this is the episode for you. The waterway is filled with confusing channel markers, various types of bridges, shallow water, root beer colored water, swamp creatures, interesting radio chatter and more. It never gets boring out there. To make adequate time, we weighed anchor or left the dock each morning bright and early in order to get in to port before sunset. Traveling in the winter can be challenging for this reason alone. We do not recommend traveling the ICW in the dark, just trust us on this one! In this semi extended episode you will hear funny stories about radio conversations we have had, mullet festivals (hehe) and just every day boat life!
