I started my career as a fashion influencer in 2015 and since then have done hundreds of shoots, been paid over $200k and have racked up 800k followers.

When first starting out the best place to start is your own closet. You most likely already have great pieces you can showcase

Once you’ve exhausted your existing wardrobe, the next place I would start is a site like Zara that offers free shipping and returns.

When do discreetly you can shoot pieces, hide the tags, and then return the items. This is a strategy that’s not meant to be abused and oftentimes I end up keeping pieces I buy that I love, but it’s a great way to stay on trend and not break the bank

Since great photos and photographers are such an integral part of being an Influencer we actually decided to build an on demand photographer app JoinCapture.com so you can get photographers within an hour for $99. I was not born with natural modeling skills and have had to learn how to look good being photographed and I mention that to give anyone hope that they can look good on camera. You just need to learn how to pose

// always be aware of where the camera is and to put your profile to the camera

What this means is you’ll angle your face so you don’t look directly into the camera (unless you want that specific look) which is the look you see most models giving

Beyond putting your profile to the camera the other thing you want to do is act like you’re doing whatever you’re staging the shot for

Are you waiting for a cab? Then maybe squint so you can see the car.

Are you taking a stroll? Then maybe think about the beautiful street and how happy you are

Finally, you need to learn to ignore everyone around you. People will gawk at you and point and you just need to keep your game face on and remember you’re working. While you’re working you need to be focused on the shot at hand and nothing else
