Breakdown MD Cloth Animation Experiment 2

The goal was to test multi layered garments overlapping each other within a walk cycle.

The simulation is made of multiple layers of cloth. A while back, I tried a similar level of complexity with very poor results. This time, the garment simulated very smoothly with no imploding. I feel like the new MD8 simulations have improved a ton since older versions

To keep the simulation optimized, only the outer layers are PD5 (particle distance of 5). Layers that are only partly visible are PD10 and those completely hidden are PD15.

The mesh is simulated as quads for easier editing. Tri’s seem to perform better, but it's a harder to deal with a tri mesh. To maintain detail when converting to quads, I bumped up the particle distance to compensate (a PD5 tri mesh could be a PD4 quad mesh)

If anyone knows a good way to work with MD alembic files please let me know. Timeline playback is extremely sluggish and adds an additional 1 minute rendertime per frame too
