FILM DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT:

A satirical look at the serious and oppressive subject of corrupt ruling mindsets and the coercive power play that continues to plague us globally.

The film although presented in a dystopian aesthetic and context is ultimately optimistic with the core belief and faith in humanity, world peace and a brighter future for all.

Using metaphor rather than reflecting upon specific historical context we observe the 'hot-headed' toxic patriarchal OTT unbalanced ruling elite model of society at large and at the extreme (such as the MIC) making filthy money from drawn-out war. The ruling elite conceit that pulls our proverbial strings portrayed as 'warlord monarchs', 'cantankerous clergy' and 'wheeler dealer business moguls' with all associated iconography, is up in flames as these undead zombies with their heads ablaze pose and march before us with absurd mock-renaissance savoir-faire.

The underlying symbolism i.e. the pomp, the greed, the lust for power and expansion of dominion over territory, the narcissistic dogmatic imperialism and all the iconic associations are ablaze in the futile play of obsessively asserting a sense of being in complete control while the self-obsessive all-consuming fire feed the flames of time and burn those selfish ambitions to the ground.

The patriarchal pomp parade marches forth, the macho misogyny and narcissitic vanity fuelled by need and greed is ablaze as they assert their desire to be captured eternally in that self-grandiose pretence arrogantly defiant to the 'hot headed' flames of time sealing their ultimate fate.

The OTT depiction of power exuberance and status is juxtaposed with the burning of those same ostentatiously ironically iconic and twisted pretentious ideals to ashes ... ashes to ashes - dust to dust!

*** Symbolism, stereotypes and archetypes:

The film utilises metaphoric and symbolic references to historical stereotypes and archetypes.
The ruling elite conceit that pulls our proverbial strings portrayed as​ 'hot-headed' warlord monarchs, cantankerous clergy and wheeler dealer business moguls with all associated iconography, up in flames​.

​The 'home laundry' scene satirically looks at associated advertising and turns the 1960's Nuclear Family niche of laundry ad's on their head with an absurd twist i.e. suburbia becomes disturbia ... 'Bliss Kiss - Fire Stain Remover'.

The archetypical phoenix then takes flight arising from the flames and ashes, representative of the restoration of balance even given extreme destructive chaotic discordant activity, offering renewal.
