Delid & Liquid Metal Thermals on AMD R3 2200G APU (Pt. 2/2)

We run thermal benchmarks on the AMD R3 2200G APU, which we delidded and cooled with liquid metal.

In this video, we test the delidded AMD R3 2200G (Raven Ridge) APU, part of the Ryzen family, and show temperature differences between liquid metal and thermal paste. The idea is to determine whether delidding is worth it for AMD APUs, as AMD has switched from solder to thermal paste for its die/IHS TIM. The switch only presently applies to the R3 2200G and R5 2400G, which presumably use thermal paste as a result of their lower cost.

We have multiple of each APU in for testing, and are working on conducting gaming and FPS benchmarks for the immediate future. These will accompany reviews for the R3 2200G & R5 2400G.
