🍕 THE STORY:
In 1889, Queen Margherita of Savoy visited Naples. The city's most famous pizzaiolo, Raffaele Esposito, was called to prepare three pizzas for her. She chose the one with red tomato, white mozzarella, and fresh basil — the colours of the Italian flag. He named it after her. And the world was never quite the same again.
