Lawanda Page was born in Ohio in October 1920 and passed on in September 2002. Before playing the legendary character of Aunt Esther, she performed on stage. She worked in little nightclubs as “The Bronze Goddess of Fire” where she ate fire and lit smoking cigarettes with her fingertips.
