If you're buying a car battery, skip the auto parts store!

In the event where your car's battery needs replacing, it may be tempting to just stop by your neighborhood AutoZone or Advance to purchase a new battery. But auto parts stores have a tendency to tack on serious markups on items like batteries and motor oil. AutoZone in particular, wants $40 more for a "gold" class 34 size battery than you would pay for the exact same battery at Walmart.
