Buy & Sell - 4 Cylinder Diesel Boat Motor.. John Deere? Kubota?

Yesterday I picked up this old diesel marine engine, no marking on it whatsoever to tell the brand, or model of this engine. The seller told me it was a John Deere, but looking at it doesn't seem to prove. Could it be a Kubota, or a Yanmar? Please comment below if this is your thing, I'll try to get it started on video in the next week or 2. I figure somone building their own boat a DIY enthusiast working on a sailboat or fishing boat might make great use of this!
