This method came to me after after I had purchased my first pineapple (late in life) and made a juicy mess of things. Then I realized, I do not know how to cut into this pineapple. But I want it so badly!

When I was a kid, growing up in rural Fresno County, California, my mother never purchase whole pineapples? We only had pineapples from a can.

So, by trial and lots of tongue-scar error, this famous across-the-core cutting method came to me! And it works like a charm!
