Drone over water? - No Problem. DJI Mini 2

My friends have speedboats. I have a drone. My kids love speedboats so I thought I would have a go at capturing them out in the sea. Many people are often worried about flying their DJI Mini drones out over open water. The basics are the same as flying over land.
1, Assess what is the highest obstacle in the operating area.
2, Check for potential hazards.
3, Wait until the drone has full GPS signal and the home point has been updated.
4, Check wind strength and direction. Wind blowing from sea to land is preferable.
5, Keep your eye on battery levels
6, Don't take risks.
7, brief any involved persons about what your plans are and how you will maintain seperation.
