ANDREW DRYNAN PARK RUNNING CREEK - Campsite review

In this camping trip we head down to Andrew Drynan campground just on the border to New South Wales. This is such a beautiful campsite close to Brisbane. It is located along Running Creek around 20 minutes from Rathdowney.

This camp site has a creek across the road, flushing toilets, water, lots of shade and stunning views from the campsite. There are fire pits around the camp site and well as large flat ground for caravans and camper trailers. Pets are welcome at this campground.

Bookings are not essential at all. Just drive down and be ready to pay cash when the care taker drives around in his truck to collect the appropriate fees. You can also buy firewood from him. Their phone number is (07) 5544 1281 if you wish to ring or have any questions.

If you do need supplies, Rathdowney town is around 20 minutes drive down the road which has a general store and a petrol station. Cellphone signal is only available to Telstra but is unreliable.
