At My Death, My Decision we support a law that will allow terminally ill people and those suffering intolerably from incurable conditions to receive medical assistance to die. We believe we must respect individuals’ autonomy in this context, but this is not merely an academic discussion about a fundamental human right – it is driven by compassion.
