Imgellad - Blacksmith

Our take on "Blacksmith", traditional english folk song noted down more than 100 years ago.
Since then it has been recorded and performed many times, and this live version is inspired mostly by the famous Planxty arrangement of the song.

Recorded live in our creative indoor surroundings and self produced.

Imgellad is a Celtic band from Croatia, formed in 2013.
We play play Celtic, Irish, Medieval, Pagan music, inspired by celtic legends and old lore, mystical stories and poetry.
We also perform arrangements of songs from artists like Blackmore`s Night, Tolkien Ensemble, Loreena Mckennitt, Old Blind Dogs, Cecile Corbel , Enya, Julie Fowlis and others.
