Yields : 9 pieces
Ingredients for Meringue
5 egg whites (small or medium size)
70 grams sugar (1/3 cup)
Ingredients for Egg Yolks
5 egg yolks (small or medium size)
pinch salt
50 grams (1/4 cup sugar)
25 grams melted butter (little less 2 tablespoon)
25 grams milk (full 1.5 tablespoon)
highly suggest to combine first the meringue mixture and the egg yolks mixture then sift in all the dry ingredients and mix using spatula.
Dry Ingredients
90 grams cake flour (1/3 cup + 1/4 cup)
1 teaspoon baking powder
Pan (39 x 40 cm) with parchment paper
bake in preheated oven 160C for 15 mins.
let it cool for 10 mins, with clean towel on top flip it
spread with softened margarine and sugar
roll
divide the cake into 3
sealed with towel and keep in the ref for 1 hour
spread again the outer of the cake with margarine and sprinkles with sugar
