Story line:
" The snow-covered mountain path was very winding and constantly led upward. I was very tired, my legs were already walking by inertia, since today I had walked about 7 kilometers. It was not just a 7-kilometer walk, but a seven-kilometer hard journey in the mountains, in a strong snowstorm and wind, along a snow-covered path. With every new step, my boots sank into the snow, which made walking even more difficult. But I didn’t give up, because I knew that the house where the parcel was addressed was already close. I saw this house at the foot of the mountain; from a distance it seemed tiny. The house was located at the very top of the mountain, it was the only house for tens of kilometers around. Since I worked as a courier, I was entrusted with the difficult task of delivering a valuable package to Mr. Foster, who lived in this mountain house. The package was the size of a small cookie box and weighed several pounds. It was impossible to get to this house by transport, so I had to walk. In order to somehow take my mind off such a difficult route, I spent half the way thinking about what could be in this package and who this Mr. Foster was. Shipping cost quite a bit of money, and this indicated that there was something truly valuable inside the mailbox. After walking for about 10 more minutes, I saw the top of the house hiding behind thick pine trees, coming closer I saw the house in all its glory. It was small, but very beautiful. It was built of stone combined with wooden beams. Round windows with carved frames and a massive wooden door gave this house special beauty and pretentiousness, even though it was simple. Near the house there was a small lawn with a bench and a swing attached to a tree branch. Approaching the front door, I knocked, but no one opened the door. Then I knocked again and again, but to no avail. I stood at the door, covered in snow, the snowstorm was getting stronger every minute, and I understood that I wouldn’t be able to get back to my car today, I needed somewhere to spend the night. Realizing this, I knocked again, but harder. To my surprise, the door opened from a knock, after thinking for a few seconds I went inside. " To be continued...
