Richard Trevithick 250 Years of Genius

2021 marks 250 years since the birth of Camborne's most famous son, Richard Trevithick, famed for his inventions, particularly that of the high pressure steam engine.

To mark this the Trevithick Day organising committee were planning to make 2021's annual Trevithick Day an extravaganza to mark this important anniversary. But as with many other events this has succumbed to the CoVid 19 pandemic.

As a result, with much gratitude to Mark and Phil Thomas, who have given their skills and time freely to produce this film, we are proud to present this video to mark this anniversary.

We would also like to give our most sincere thanks to all of the people who have given their time to provide presentations for the video.
